Praying for Peace Monthly Prayer Vigil for Peace-20th Day Prayer is a necessity. Without it we see only our own point of view, our own righteousness. Prayer has the power to make enemies into friends. Prayer under-mines war and hatred. Join us on the 20th of each month from 5:30-6:00 in Koinonia Place for our Prayer Vigil for Peace and Justice in the Middle East.
Tuesday Staff Prayers Your staff at St. Stephen’s gathers for devotions and prayer each Tuesday morning at 10:00. We pray for a segment of the congregation and for other concerns. We would love to have you join us for this time of prayer. If you have any prayer requests, talk to a staff member.
Thursday Morning Prayer 8:00 a.m. The service of Morning Prayer (Matins) is offered every Thursday, 8:00-8:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. All who wish to attend are welcome. A special invitation is extended to all area clergy for this ecumenical worship time.
Faith and Healing 5th Sunday Healing Prayers Whenever there is a fifth Sunday in the month, St. Stephen’s includes, during 8:00 worship, prayers for healing and anointing with oil. Are you curious about it? You are invited to turn to page 276 in our Evangelical Lutheran Worship book to see the order of service.

Worship is Important Worship is expressed through many styles which always include the Word of God, preaching from the Bible, singing old and new songs, praying for one another, celebrating Holy Communion, giving time to children and adults alike, exhibiting warmth and friendliness while gathering in the mystery of God's presence. |

Please join us in worship next Sunday for the blessing of long-time and new Communion Ministers.
