Thursday Morning Prayer
Ecumenical is a word that refers to a big house that all
kinds of Christians really dwell under the same roof of
God's blessing! Thursday mornings each week we host an
ecumenical prayer gathering. A half hour of song,
reflection, and prayer (8:00 to 8:30 a.m.) is followed by
coffee and treats. In addition to Lutherans, you may
regularly expect to find Methodists, Catholics, Moravians,
Presbyterians, and others in the circle with you!
Thursday Mornings at 8:00
The service of Morning Prayer is offered every Thursday, 8:00-8:30
a.m. in the sanctuary. All who wish to attend are welcome.
In January 2012, we were fortunate
to be joined by Pr. Rafael Cubilette's mother (front,
center) during her visit from the Dominican Republic.
Pr. Cubilette, an active participant in Morning Prayer,
serves at Monona United Methodist Church and is deeply
involved in ministry with the Hispanic community.
