Prayer Vigil for Peace & Justice
20th Day of Every Month
On the 20th day of the month, no matter which day of the week, every month of the year, we gather for a prayer vigil for peace and justice in the Middle East. The format is simple: the lighting of candles, song, readings and prayer. The vigil meets in Koinonia Place from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m. This year several special events are planned in conjunction with the vigils featuring films, guests and meals.

Augusta Victoria Hospital

Augusta Victoria HospitalOur generous financial support for the “poor fund” of Augusta Victoria Hospital makes health care possible for Palestinian refugees and villagers who have no other health care options.

Soup for Schools
Scholarships for Lutheran Schools in Palestine
Lutheran schools in Palestine provide amazing ministries of education, health and sanctuary from the chaos of violence for children in kindergarten through grade twelve. Through our “Soup for Schools” groups, St. Stephen’s people come together monthly for a delightful meal, and socializing. With their $5 per month contribution, they are presently providing tuition for children in the West Bank. Talk to a pastor if you’d like to be part of a group.
