Carols & Evening Prayer:
New Wednesday Schedule

Dec. 2, 9, 16 we gather for candlelight and favorite Christmas carols. The service begins at 6:00.  There will be snacks after Joyful Noise (Children's Music) and also soup supper/potluck after worship, especially for Confirmation and choir families, but all are welcome!

Joyful Noise: Special Preparation
We meet on Wednesdays, Dec. 2, 9, and 16 from 5:00-5:45. During Advent we will be preparing music for the Sunday School program, so all Sunday School children are invited to join us for these music rehearsals. There will be a snack available before the evening Advent service, and children are encouraged to stay and participate with their families. You can also stay for dinner after the service.
Church Decorating: December 5
Sat. Dec. 5, come set up trees, string lights, hang ornaments, and enjoy each other’s company, starting at 8:30am.

Lessons and Carols for Bethlehem

Save the Date: Messiah Sing-A-Long
December 12 at 7:00 pm
Our 2nd annual Messiah Sing-a-long is at 7:00pm December 12.  This community event drew nearly 200 last year, and raised $500 for the Food Pantry!  Dust off your score for Handel’s Messiah or purchase one at the door for $10, and lift your voice with our choir and guest soloists in singing the Christmas portion and a rousing rendition of the “Hallelujah” chorus.

Bold Fit
Our next Bold Fit gathering will be Saturday, Dec. 5, as we gather with others from the congregation to decorate the church for Christmas. Please bring some Christmas cookies or any snack to share. Decorating starts at 8:30 am.

New Children's Music Program
Wednesdays; 5:00-5:45 pm
Parents of Kids 4K through Grade 1 (Ages 4-6): Children’s music has begun at St. Stephen’s!  We sing, ring chimes, make noise, and explore age-appropriate elements of music while learning songs enabling our youngest members to be worship leaders.  If you have kids between the ages of 4 and 6, it’s time to get them singing!  Rehearsals are Wednesday evening, 5:00-5:45 pm.  Please speak with Rebecca ( if you have questions, or to sign your kids up.  Got older kids who are interested?  Please speak with Rebecca:  she needs a few good assistant directors and helpers.

Christmas Worship
We will continue to have four worship services celebrating the Nativity of our Lord, with a few minor adjustments. All services will include your favorite carols and communion and the proclamation of the good news of Jesus’ birth, and all Christmas Eve services include candle lighting.
Christmas Eve:
   3:30 pm
continues to be the most rambunctious and
           kid-friendly, including Time for Children
5:30 pm adds the music of our choir this year, while
           remaining the richest liturgically
10:30 pm will be a new feeling, quiet and reflective amid
           the darkness
Christmas Day
10:00 am Christmas morning continues to be a simple
           service of Lessons & Carols

Wednesday Bible Study
