Annual Palm Sunday Celebration
March 29, One Combined Service at 9:30 am
We begin with our Palm Sunday processional walk from Gunderson Funeral Home
at 9:30. We will follow the donkey,
Gethsemane, up to the church. We will continue our worship in the sanctuary
at 10:00. This service is a blended service with a variety of music
featuring the choir, and Steadfast too! Following our worship together, join
us for coffee and fellowship in Koinonia Place. Thanks to Schuster's Farm
These aren’t just palms…they’re Eco-Palms! They are
sustainably harvested and fairly-traded. That means the
money we spent on the palms is directly benefitting
communities where palms are harvested—sending young girls to
school, employing women, and building community centers.
They are also harvested in an environmentally-friendly way
that protects forests. You can learn more and see photos of
the villages at www.ecopalms.org.
5th Sunday Healing
On this 5th Sunday of the month, during Communion you are
invited to the station by the baptismal font for one-on-one
healing prayers for any concerns—for yourself or others, for
physical, psychological, emotional, or relational healing.
Some of the most central, moving, and unique services of the
church year happen during the week between Palm Sunday and

Applications Due April 30
St. Stephen’s Foundation trustees announce the availability
of college scholarships for the 2015-2016 academic year.
The Foundation encourages qualifying students to apply if
they plan to seek, or are currently seeking, general
degrees and undergraduate degrees in agriculture, life
sciences or medical fields. Students who previously
applied and/or received scholarships, may reapply.
Application packets are available in the church office.
Letters from references are required, so be sure to get your
packet early enough to allow ample time to complete it. To
be considered, applicants must ensure that completed forms
are returned to the church office no later than Thursday,
April 30. While anyone who will enroll in college or
technical school for the 2015-16 academic year may apply,
trustees especially encourage members of St. Stephen’s to
consider filling out an application.
