we gather for candlelight and favorite Christmas carols. The
service begins at 6:00. There will be snacks after Joyful
Noise (Children's Music) and also soup supper/potluck after worship, especially
for Confirmation and choir families, but all are welcome!
Joyful Noise: Special
We meet on Wednesdays, Dec. 2, 9, and 16 from 5:00-5:45.
During Advent we will be preparing music for the Sunday
School program, so all Sunday School children are invited to
join us for these music rehearsals. There will be a snack
available before the evening Advent service, and children
are encouraged to stay and participate with their families.
You can also stay for dinner after the service.
Sat. Dec. 5, come set up trees, string lights, hang
ornaments, and enjoy each other’s company, starting at
Lessons and Carols for
Dec. 6 at 7:00, join other congregations from around town
for a beautiful service in fundraising support of
schoolchildren in Bethlehem at Midvale Lutheran (corner of
Midvale & Tokay).

December 12 at 7:00 pm
Our 2nd annual Messiah Sing-a-long is at 7:00pm December
12. This community event drew nearly 200 last year, and
raised $500 for the Food Pantry! Dust off your score for
Handel’s Messiah or purchase one at the door for $10, and
lift your voice with our choir and guest soloists in singing
the Christmas portion and a rousing rendition of the
Our next Bold Fit gathering will be Saturday, Dec. 5, as we
gather with others from the congregation to decorate the
church for Christmas. Please bring some Christmas cookies or
any snack to share. Decorating starts at 8:30 am.

riverboat cruise from Clarkston, WA to the Pacific Ocean on the Snake and

New Children's Music Program

Parents of Kids 4K through Grade 1 (Ages 4-6): Children’s music
has begun at
St. Stephen’s! We sing, ring chimes, make noise, and explore
age-appropriate elements of music while learning songs enabling our youngest
members to be worship leaders. If you have kids between the ages of 4 and
6, it’s time to get them singing! Rehearsals are Wednesday evening,
5:00-5:45 pm. Please speak with Rebecca (email@example.com) if you have
questions, or to sign your kids up. Got older kids who are interested?
